Gingerbread Hot Cocoa

Gingerbread Hot Cocoa is a delicious winter treat that combines rich cacao, aromatic spices, and creamy plant milk. Every sip is pure comfort!  


  • 360ml of your favorite plant milk made with Milky Plant
  • ¾ teaspoon of ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 2 ½ tablespoons of raw cacao
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of cornstarch


  1. Pour 240ml of plant-based milk into a small or medium saucepan. Add the ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cacao powder, and maple syrup. Bring to a rapid simmer over medium heat, whisking occasionally to incorporate the cacao powder and spices into the milk.
  2.  Whisk together the remaining plant milk with the cornstarch until no clumps remain.
  3. Once the hot chocolate starts simmering, slowly add the milk and cornstarch mixture, whisking until it starts to thicken (around 40 seconds).
  4. Remove from the heat and serve warm.
