Ingredients:
- 360ml of your favorite plant milk made with Milky Plant
- ¾ teaspoon of ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
- 2 ½ tablespoons of raw cacao
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 ½ teaspoons of cornstarch
Instructions:
- Pour 240ml of plant-based milk into a small or medium saucepan. Add the ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cacao powder, and maple syrup. Bring to a rapid simmer over medium heat, whisking occasionally to incorporate the cacao powder and spices into the milk.
- Whisk together the remaining plant milk with the cornstarch until no clumps remain.
- Once the hot chocolate starts simmering, slowly add the milk and cornstarch mixture, whisking until it starts to thicken (around 40 seconds).
- Remove from the heat and serve warm.
