Ingredients
- 350g bread flour
- 170g oat milk (freshly made with Milky Plant)
- 50g sugar
- 50g oat pulp (after processed by Milky Plant)
- 3g instant dry yeast
- 3g salt
- 40g butter of choice, softened
- 120g raisins
- In a stand mixer, combine bread flour, oat milk, sugar, oat pulp, instant dry yeast, and salt.
- Mix the ingredients on low speed for 10 minutes.
- Add the softened butter to the mixture and continue mixing on low-medium speed using the hook attachment until the dough comes together, for about 10 - 12 minutes.
- Add in the raisins and knead until they are evenly distributed in the dough.
- Shape the dough into a ball and let it rise in a covered bowl until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 175°C.
- Divide the risen dough into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
- Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each.
- Lightly brush the tops of the buns with oat milk.
- Bake the buns in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve the oat milky and raisin buns warm. Enjoy!
